How to choose a laser cutting machine for cutting fabric

   For fabric cutting, CO₂ laser cutting machines are the most suitable choice. They use non-contact high-temperature melting cutting, with high precision and smooth edges. The heat automatically seals the edges to prevent fraying, making them ideal for chiffon, lace, mesh, elastic fabric and other synthetic materials. They excel at intricate patterns, hollow-out designs and fine cutting with high efficiency.

   They are not recommended for cotton, linen, wool and other natural fibers, as these materials tend to scorch, yellow or produce smoke during cutting. For general fabric processing, a laser power of 80W–150W is sufficient. For roll material production, models with automatic feeding and edge positioning systems are better.

   Desktop laser machines are suitable for small-batch customization, while large-format laser cutting beds are for mass production.
